MOOC Badges
The University of Notre Dame, in partnership with edX, offers several Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) which are available at no cost to anyone in the world. Students were eligible to earn one of the badges listed below if they completed the associated MOOC and met other criteria demonstrating good engagement with the material or their classmates. In "The Meaning of Rome", Notre Dame piloted the integration of ePortfolios with MOOCs for the first time.
